In-store Color Consultation
Looking for new ideas on color? Looking for the perfect color?
In-store color consultations are available with purchase to all of our Northside Decorating customers. This includes a 10-20 minute visit with a color specialist. By assisting you in narrowing down your color selections, a color specialist can give you a color palette to work from when choosing colors for your space.
No appointment necessary. Clients will be assisted in the order of their arrival.
Color Specialists are available every day.
To make the most of an in-store visit you may consider bringing the following to make your visit more productive:
- Photos of rooms and/or furniture
- Fabric samples (These can just be swatches of fabrics with colors that you love and inspire you, they don’t necessarily have to be the actual fabrics that you are intending to use in your space.
- Throw pillows or accessories with colors that you love.
In-home color consultations are also available for a fee. Ask our Color Specialist about pricing.
Kathleen Toner, currently a Color and Decorative Painter Specialist at Northside Decorating in Roswell, GA, has been involved in the Paint and Coatings industry for over 23 years.
As National Director of Specialty Finishes for Muralo Paint and Coatings, Kathleen has taught classes around the country. She has also been a guest speaker for the Philadelphia Home Show, Allentown Home Show and Atlanta Home show as well as appearing on Good Morning Atlanta and Peachtree Morning.
With her technical background, Kathleen was involved in product development, developing the 1st metallics for retail/professional market application – Muralo Lustre Finishers. She also developed the first in-house faux recipes for the D-I-Y consumer at Sears, Ace and independent Muralo dealers with her glaze “Shea Finish”.
Kathleen will take you through various products and finishes explaining in detail the why’s and why not’s from the technical perspective, as well as in depth color guidance. She is available for color consulting and technical guidance at Northside Decorating Monday thru Thursday (9:00am-4:30pm) and Saturday (9:00am-2:00pm).
