” Since 1910, Seabrook wallpaper and wallcoverings make a classic, timeless and powerful statement when adorning the walls of a home. If you haven’t been watching the wallpaper evolution, you will be amazed by all the new products available. ” The opportunity to add depth, complex textures, intricate patterns, and varied colors is easily achieved when you choose to use wallpaper. Modern technology has integrated sophisticated printing techniques into today’s wallpaper, providing everyone with the chance to incorporate stunning art into their homes. The colors and patterns of wallpaper can subliminally affect your emotional well-being and attitude, adding a boost of energy, serenity, or cheer to your daily living.
Much attention has been turned to our children’s rooms within the world of interior design. Pattern is very important in decorating for children because of the repetition within a design. This repetition, or rhythm, of a pattern promotes problem solving and gives the child a sense of stability. Many visual learning aids have been combined into the designs of Seabrook’s recent children’s’ lines. Designs such as large alphabet blocks, vivid animals, full-size trees, jungles, or beaches are all depicted along with so more to ignite a child’s imagination and understanding of the world in which we live. ”

Most of Schumacher’s papers and fabrics can be grouped into 4 categories:
CLASSIC: These designs boast a fresh take on antique textiles and wallpapers from their archives, as well as new signature designs from leading textile designers. Classic prints are featured on grounds of linen, cotton and silk and include fine table prints, historical reproductions of French toiles, English florals, exotic palampores and finely crafted hand-block prints. Many of these classics are crafted by some of the world’s finest artisans.
MODERN: This collection represents the company’s dedication to modern design with timeless appeal. The patterns within the Modern fabrics range from bold to restrained, with an array of colors from vivid brights to sophisticated neutrals. Natural elements, geometric patterns and watercolors are all interpreted with a modern sensibility to create contemporary glamour.
Schumacher’s Modern wallcoverings collection expands the possibilities of pattern and color for the interior. A variety of printing techniques are used to create subtly textured surface patterns and crisp hand-print designs. The use of gloss and metallic inks creates an alluring matte and shine effect.
ELEMENTS: The Element collections provide designers with the essentials for any interior. These styles beautifully complement Schumacher’s statement prints and wovens and can also work on their own to provide texture or an expanse of color. Diverse and sophisticated color palettes make these Schumacher Elements suitable for both modern and traditional interiors.
TERRA: Beauty with a conscience. Elegance in harmony with Nature. Schumacher affirms its commitment to protecting our planet with its new Schumacher Terra brand of sustainable, eco-friendly fabrics and wallcoverings. With authentic, third-party certification, all products under the Schumacher Terra name will provide you with beautiful choices while meeting recognized standards for environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing processes. Products feature natural and renewable materials such as linen, jute, bamboo, and certified organic cotton, and are produced according to some of the most respected sustainable guidelines for the protection of the environment and human welfare.
